Discovering Concarneau: sea and town
This urban route allows you to discover the famous walled town of Concarneau, flanked by the fishing port and the marina. The route continues along the coastal road towards the beaches of Cornouaille and Sables Blancs.
The end of the circular route passes through the Dorlett valley, the old railway line and the Kerandon district and valley.

Greenways and seaside in Concarneau
A hike through varied landscapes, allowing you to discover the greenways of Concarneau and the beauty of the seaside from the Plage des Sables Blancs.
Kersaux and Minaouët coves, starting from Passage Lanriec
The first part of this route follows the coastal path between beaches, cliffs and rocky outcrops, all the way to the tidal mill nestled at the far end of Anse du Minaouët, offering stunning views of Concarneau, the Ville Close and Baie de la Forêt.The second part passes through a more densely built-up area and holds a few surprises, such as the discovery of paths, wetlands and small woods that are little known, perhaps even to the locals of Concarneau.
Minaouët tide mill circuit
The route offers picturesque and varied landscapes.A magnificent view of the entrance to Concarneau harbour and its walled town, a coastal path dotted with beautiful granite rocks leading to a ria where a perfectly preserved old tide mill surprises us; it's worth stopping here.
Brunec Water Reservoir and the right bank of the Étang du Moros
From the village of Beuzec-Conq, a district of Concarneau, head down a small country road to the old Moulin de la Haie, which was one of the many water mills once in operation. Continue along a beautiful wooded path to reach the Brunec reservoir, then follow the route overlooking the right bank of the Moros.
A final shaded climb alongside a stream, passing an old fountain, takes you back to the starting point.

Castle of Kériolet and pond of Moros
Descend for a circuit around the pond of Moros.Nice view of the manor of Stang-ar-Lin, nicknamed "the Pink Castle". On the way back, visit the grounds of the castle of Kériolt".
Tour of Pointe du Cabellou
A route taking you around the Pointe du Cabellou opposite Concarneau, passing the 18th-century fort and Saint-Fiacre Chapel.
Please note: This route is impassable at high tide as the lack of a continuous coastal path means you have to cross the beach and rocky areas.
These sections have led me to classify this hike as Moderate.
Route de Lanriec via Anse du Moulin in Mer
From the small village of Lanriec and its listed church, this route leads to the long Anse du Moulin à Mer, where the Minaouët River flows, to the Pointe de Grignallou and its small lighthouse, then along part of the Anse de Pouldohan.
The return journey is via quiet back roads and the old Quimperlé-Concarneau railway line.
Anse Saint-Jean, seaside and old railway tracks in Concarneau
This route follows part of the old Concarneau-Rosporden railway line, now converted into a greenway, then the line that connected the station to the port (port junction), and then runs along the seafront from the fishing port to Anse Saint-Jean, via theGR® 34.
Walk along the Anse de Saint-Laurent
A short, very easy return walk along the GR®34, by the water’s edge with magnificent views along the coast.
Anses Saint-Laurent and Saint-Jean and Voie Verte in Concarneau
Via theGR®®34, the wooded coastal path runs alongside the Anses Saint-Laurent and Saint-Jean, opening onto the Baie de La Forêt-Fouesnant and ending at the famous Sables Blancs beach in Concarneau.This part of the circuit changes appearance with the tide.The return journey is via the Roscoff-Concarneau Greenway and then along a country road.

Anse de Pouldohan and Pointe de la Jument circuit
The route follows mainly the coastal path that runs alongside the many coves of Anse de Pouldohan and returns via Pointe de la Jument.
Circuit of Penfoulic Cove and Cap Coz Beach
Circuit along Penfoulic Cove (wintering area for brant geese) then passage in front of the Port-La-Forêt nautical centre.After a stretch through the countryside, return via Cap Coz beach.
Circular of the coastal path and coastal ponds
From the GR®34, we walk along several beaches and coastal ponds.Return via small roads, passing near the Kerdallé bread oven.
Around Port-la Forêt and Anse de Penfoulic
Sea route, running along Kerleven Beach, crossing the large marina of Port-la Forêt and continuing along Anse de Penfoulic, which opens onto the open sea.
Countryside and sea around La Forêt-Fouesnant
The route alternates between a first section in the countryside on the heights of La Forêt-Fousnant through a wood and then quiet little roads lined with tree-lined embankments.The second part runs along the coast via Anse de Penfoulic (a wintering area for barnacle geese) and continues opposite the Port la Forêt marina and along the ria.
Around La Forêt-Fouesnant via Loc Amand
A hike between sea and land: the Ria de la Forêt-Fouesnant extended by the superb Port-la Forêt marina, the large Kerleven Beach with views of the open sea. Pass through a wood bordering the Anse de Saint-Laurent. The return journey along the small roads may seem long, but the discovery of the old priory of Loc Amand and the Chapel of Pénity in its green theatre completes this route.
