Access: Take the D783, bypass Concarneau and, at the roundabout, head towards Cabellou. The car park is located about 700 m away, near a football pitch.
GR ®34 (Red and white markings)
(S/E) From the car park, take the path on the right that runs alongside the football pitch. Continue along the path under the pine trees overlooking a cove where the remains of wooden boats are breaking up. Follow this path until it joins a tarmac section, Chemin de Parc Rouz, and reaches a road.
(1) Follow it to the right towards the water sports centre, then walk along Cabellou or Belle Étoile Beach via the paths through the dunes between the wooden fences.

At the end, turn right and continue along the top of the beach. On this section, the coastal path is not continuous, so you’ll need to walk along the beach before finding a short stretch of path that leads to a car park at the end of Avenue des Glénans (a lovely view of Anse de Kersaux).
(2) Continue along the seashore. Here too, there is no proper coastal path. You must walk along the upper part of the beach and between the rocks, always enjoying a beautiful view of Baie de la Forêt. Look out for an old chapel on the left-hand side, as well as the numerous blockhouses dotted along the route.
You’ll arrive at Pointe du Cabellou, where there’s an old 18th-century fort that you can visit.
(3) Continue along the coast, still without a proper coastal path, until you reach Grand Large Beach, which you follow until you reach Avenue des Dunes.
(4) Leave the seafront by turning left onto Avenue des Dunes and follow it straight on. You will arrive near the Chapelle Saint-Fiacre on the right.

(5) After visiting the chapel (open in summer for art exhibitions) and enjoying its peaceful setting, join the beach dune path and retrace your steps along the outward route back to the starting car park (S/E)
