(S/E) From the car park, facing the ramparts of the walled town, head south towards the coastal path, going around the statue of Duquesne at the end of the esplanade. Continue past the Abri du Marin and then the European Centre for Continuing Maritime Education. Follow the path, which offers a beautiful view of Concarneau and the Anse de Kersaux. Reach and follow the Porzou beach.
(1) Enter a maritime pine forest and follow the edge of it to reach the back of the swimming pool at a mooring area.
(2) Go around this area and leave a dirt esplanade on your left. Set back on the left, you will see the school building.
(3) Turn right and follow the path between the houses, cross a street and continue. At the junction with the next street, turn right and then take the street opposite, Rue du Galion, and follow it to the end. Turn right for a few metres and then take Impasse du Drakkar, which continues as a grassy path that joins Avenue du Cabellou.
No signposts
(4) Zigzag left then right and take the street opposite (signposted "station d'épuration").
(5) When the street forks to the right, look carefully for the start of the path that goes around the sewage treatment plant, first towards the south-east and then further south. At the first crossroads, continue straight ahead.
(6) Turn left and follow this path, which will lead to a place called Kerambars, where you will join a small road. Follow it for about 200 m to find the entrance to Moulin à Mer on the right.
(7) Step over a large horizontal rock and follow the path down to the old Minaouët tide mill. This is a good place to take a break and enjoy the view of the ria.

(8) Retrace your steps and climb the small wooden staircase on the left to take the path that follows the meandering course of the ria.
Follow the path, keeping the sea on your left. After some large boulders, the path turns north-west to follow the Anse du Moulin à Mer.
(9) Ignore the path on the right that leads back to the route you have already taken and continue around the cove. On the right, you will see a rather rustic barrier made of upright stones with holes in them: these are characteristic of this region. Continue along the edge of this deep estuary until you reach the entrance at Pointe du Grignallou, where you will see the Pouldohan lighthouse, recognisable by its green-painted top.
(10) The path continues in a north-westerly direction. After a small beach, follow the path closest to the sea, which offers a view of the south coast. Reach the Plage des Bouchers via the path that runs slightly behind, protected by wooden fences to protect a fragile corner of the dunes.
(11) Leave the coast via the Allée des Tamaris, which continues slightly to the right along the Allée des Genêts d'Or.
(12) Turn left to reach the Chapelle Saint-Fiacre, built in 1930 from materials taken from another building. It hosts exhibitions, mainly in summer.
Reach the grassy esplanade that runs alongside Belle Étoile Beach and pass the Nautical Centre.
(13) Turn left onto Chemin de Park Rouz, which joins the coastal path. Walk up the back of the cove, passing the Stade de Kersaux, to reach Avenue du Cabellou.
(14) Ignore the first path on the left after the end of the cove and follow this road to the left for about 100 m. You will reach the grassy passage you took on the way there.
(4) Turn left, returning to the route you took on the way there, which will rejoin the coastal path
(3) Follow it in the opposite direction to the car park (S/E).
