The Bois de Chaleix in Bugeat

A short hike from Bugeat, along the Vézère river through the woods, very pleasant in summer as it is well shaded. You will discover the meanders of the Vézère along a narrow path right by the river. Not very practicable in winter as it is very wet.
Tour of the puys starting from Pradines
Prepare your calves and set off to conquer the Monèdières peaks, pushing your limits. A hike that is as breathtaking as it is exhausting. Beautiful forests and superb panoramic views. Bring a spare pair of socks: there are a few streams to cross. A few kilometres of road in total (~5), but very, very little traffic.
Route de Toy Viam via Petit Paris
This easy route takes you along beautiful deciduous forest paths, which are magnificent in autumn, and past the lovely Étang de Condeau lake.

From the surroundings of Puy Chammard to the Troh stream
The route first climbs towards Puy Chammard on a quiet road with clear views of Uzerche. After that, it mainly follows paths to make a large circular route around Espartignac, crossing the Troh stream several times. This part offers clear views towards Les Monédières. The route ends along the Vézère river.
Route du Lac de Faux
Faux-la-Montagne owes its name to its high altitude (over 700 metres above sea level) on the western edge of the Millevaches plateau. Around Lake Faux, beech and oak trees mingle with conifers, occupying what was still sheep pasture in the 19th century.
