Description of the walk

To return to the starting point, leave Gourdon-Murat in the direction of Le Bourg and Le Bec. Park either opposite the drinking trough in front of a barn or further away at point (1) at the start of the paths.

(S/E) At the end of the hamlet of Le Bec, near the watering hole, take the track that continues at the end of the road.

(1) Cross a stream and climb up to your right. At the top, at the crossroads, continue straight ahead; this path goes around the bog.

(2) At the crossroads, follow the wide track on the left which climbs uphill, ignoring the side paths.

(3) At the next crossroads, turn left onto the wide track.

(4) At the next crossroads, turn left onto the track that descends towards the hamlet of La Chattemissie.

(5) In the hamlet, take the road on the left to the pond.

(6) Take the track on the left at the start of the pond. Follow this main track, ignoring the side paths, and you will arrive at the hamlet of Le Bec (S/E).

The description mentions a drinking trough. It's a wash house!
Between D and 4, poorly marked, if at all.
The first half is quite pretty (hardwood forest, peat bog). The second half is less so because of the conifer plantations. What's more, I'm not a fan of these trails. Luckily, the colours are splendid at this time of year!
