A pleasant hike alternating between woods and fields, trails and paths through the valleys of the Gers. On the way, the listed chapel of Saint-Clamens, dating fromthe 11th century, is worth a short detour.
The Caesar Trail in Bugard
This is a typical countryside walk for the whole family. Apart from the distance, which is a little long, it is not difficult. However, I recommend doing it on a clear day to fully enjoy the view of the Pyrenees.

Lake Puydarrieux
Short walk around Lake Puydarieux. Bird sanctuary with access to huts.
Route almost entirely marked with yellow signs to be followed in an anti-clockwise direction. Sometimes the markings are difficult to see, damaged or missing. A few paths are difficult to see.

Around the Souy at Bois du Commandeur
Hike in the Bois du Commandeur in Ibos and Bordères-sur-l'Échez along the Souy river.The route is located between the D817 road from Pau and the D2 road from Bordères to Pintac, mainly using forest paths and trails. However, there are some short sections on roads.

The Menhir of the Ger Plateau

South-east of Tarbes
This easy hike south-east of Tarbes offers views of the Pic de Midi de Bigorre and Montaigu mountain ranges and takes you through typical Pyrenean villages. The hike follows sections of small roads with little traffic. The description and map are essential as there are many turn-offs.
