Park in front of the former Abbey of Saint-Sever-de-Rustan.
(S/E) Standing in front of the former abbey with your back to the Arros bridge, head straight ahead, then turn right at the first street and left at the next one. Stay on this path until you are about 50 metres from the junction with the D6 road, at the first bend.
(1) Take a path on the left, then cross the D6 road with care and take the country lane opposite. Continue along this road until you reach the junction with the D27. Turn right and follow the D27 uphill.
(2) At the top of the hill, turn left onto a track, then turn left again onto an uphill dirt track and take the dirt track on your right. Continue along this track, through the forest, until you reach the junction marking the start of a steep descent.
(3) Follow this path straight down to the tarmac road and turn left. Continue to the junction with a wayside cross.
(4) Turn right, cross the Arros bridge and continue to the junction after Laméac church.
(5) Turn right, then cross the D14 road and continue straight ahead. At the right-angled bend, take the path opposite, then carry on straight ahead, ignoring a path branching off to the right, until you reach a junction with a path on the left.
(6) Turn left and continue along this country lane until you reach Route du Trémont, at elevation 194. Turn right and continue along this road until you reach the edge of the woods.
(7) Take the forest track on the left, at the edge of the forest. Continue along this track for quite some distance, passing La Carrau farm, until you reach the junction with the D14 road.
(8) Turn right and continue to the junction with the D6 road, turn left, cross the Arros bridge and return to the starting point, in front of the former Abbey of Saint-Sever (S/E).
