A superb walk facing the long barrier of the Rochers des Fiz (or Chaîne des Fiz – Massif de Platé, Haut Giffre), in an exceptional setting with a section of the route running alongside the Souay torrent. When the sun is shining, the reflections of Lake Pormenaz are truly beautiful.

A very pleasant hike offering beautiful views of the Fiz mountains with some lovely sections (beautiful waterfalls).

An extraordinary hike that almost forms a loop, starting from the Châtelet car park; a complete change of scenery guaranteed in an exceptional environment (Passy and Sixt nature reserves; Platé desert). You will need two vehicles.

Crossing the Buet, ascending via the Refuge de Grenairon and descending via Les Fonts. It is a long loop with a significant elevation gain and a section at an altitude of 3,000 metres. Having done this hike again in the direction of Grenairon chalet to Fonts chalets, I am repeating the description as it is much easier, shorter (approx. 9 to 10 hours), and it is easier to see the rest of the path from above when descending from Beaux Prés.

The first stage of a two-day excursion to Lac d'Anterne, this day allows us to reach the Refuge du Col d'Anterne via Les Argentières and Lac de Pormenaz.

A very beautiful, long hike from which you can admire various magnificent waterfalls, the Plaine du Grand Pré, the Fiz, the Lacs de Laouchets, the Désert de Platé, and the Mont Blanc range from the Dérochoir. A long hike with no technical difficulties or exposed sections.

I invite you to tackle the Tour des Fiz, a route of considerable length with a significant elevation gain.Along the way, you’ll be treated to magnificent and varied scenery throughout this hike.Please note, you will encounter a difficult section during the ascent of the Passage du Dérochoir (6): the cliff face is fairly well-equipped but requires a degree of caution, particularly as it is quite exposed.

From the Moëde Anterne refuge where you will have spent the night, there is a beautiful climb to the Col d'Anterne, facing Mont Blanc, then a return trip to Lac d'Anterne. The descent from the pass is via the 4X4 track to spare your joints.

Second stage of the Tour des Aiguilles Rouges. This second stage follows the itinerary of the Mont Blanc GRP®. Hike through the Passy Reserve to the Col de Salenton. It's optional to climb the Mont Blanc des Dames: le Buet. Descent through the Vallon de Bérard nature reserve to the mountain hut.

A lovely hike passing through the Col de Salenton, descend to take the balcony path through the mountain pastures of the Vallée de la Diosaz. Continue on to the Refuge de Moede-Anterne, then the Col d'Anterne and descend to the magnificent Lac d'Anterne. Then reach the Refuge des Fonts via a pretty path passing through the Petit Col d'Anterne. ⚠️ This route crosses the Aiguilles Rouges nature reserve. Please respect the regulations in force. First stage of the Aiguilles Rouges tour. This stage begins with a forest climb with views of Mont Blanc and the Bossons glacier. Continuing with a panoramic hike over the Passy reserve, we pass Lac de Pormenaz and arrive at Refuge de Moëde Anterne which overlooks the Mont Blanc mountain range.

A route through a very wild landscape between two bucolic lakes, with views of Mont Blanc. Very stony trail, ideal after rain. Shaded route in the first and last quarters.

Starting from Plaine Joux (Passy), I suggest a somewhat challenging hike to reach the summit of the Pointe Noire de Pormenaz whilst enjoying magnificent scenery (particularly towards Mont Blanc). Please note: there is a steep, securedsection (cables, ladders) between (9) and (10).

A beautiful hike at the foot of the Fiz cliff. Beautiful panoramic views from the Col d'Anterne, beautiful lakes and a dizzying descent.

This fifth stage crosses the Montagne d'Anterne and, via a high-mountain route, the Aiguilles Rouges massif, offering superb views of the Mont Blanc massif. From the refuge, dominated by the famous Rochers des Fiz, the GR®5 trail climbs to the lake and then to the Col d'Anterne. From there, it descends to the Moëde Anterne Refuge and the Chalets de Moëde before skirting the rocky ridge of the Fonds de Moëde. It crosses the Diosaz at the Pont d’Arvelé to climb the slope of the Aiguilles Rouges massif, passing the ruins of the Chalets d’Arvelé before ascending to the Col du Brévent. After a short descent, it climbs again via ladders up the Brévent ridge and reaches its summit, which offers a splendid panorama of the Mont Blanc massif. The GR®5, via a very long and arduous descent, passes the Refuge de Bellachat and then, further down, the monumental statue of Christ the King, before crossing the Arve and entering Les Houches.

Straddling the Franco-Swiss border, the Dents Blanches, Dents du Midi, Tenneverge, Mont Ruan and Aiguilles Rouges. An area strongly shaped by the folding of the Alps, with surprising landscapes ranging from lunar deserts to high-altitude lakes, waterfalls and forgotten mountain pastures. A wild and unspoilt nature that only hikers can discover. Alpine valleys, often isolated by "pas", technical and cabled paths opening the doors to this universe of raw and grandiose nature...

If you spend a night at the Moëde Anterne refuge, you can make a round trip to Lake Anterne, taking a different route on the descent from the refuge.Beautiful view of Mont Blanc. Three lakes on the programme: Lac de Pormenaz on the first day, then a night at the refuge, Lac d'Anterne the next day, which reflects the rocky ridge of Les Fiz, and Lac Vert near Plaine Joux, to be saved for the return trip.
