This route climbs above the village of Thoard.The path follows, in part, a track that is passable by 4x4s, so it is quite wide.

On a clear day, you can make out Les Monges, the bells of Barles and even the fort at Dormillouse. The final climb to La Bigue, though steep, is rewarded with a breathtaking 360° panorama. The return route via the Baisse des Chatières takes you through a peaceful, wooded valley, the perfect way to round off this adventure in the heart of nature. A hike not to be missed for lovers of magnificent scenery and tranquillity.

This easy hike takes you to a fossil of an ichthyosaur, a large marine reptile measuring over 4 m and dating back 183 million years. The trail runs along a fairly cool ravine before climbing up a slope covered with downy oak and beech trees to the Col du Jas. The archaeological site is located 200 m after the pass.

A very pleasant walk. Up to (3), there are numerous views of Digne and its surroundings. At the top of the Andran (6), there is a beautiful 360° panorama. On the way back, there is a very beautiful passage before Courbons.

Two hills dominate the Bourg district of Digne-les-Bains. Here is a route that takes you to both in the same day. For those staying in Digne, it is nice to start directly from the town.

A very pleasant walk, well signposted and perfectly situated to enjoy the sunshine all day long. The climb takes you through oak woods and offers a beautiful view of the Bléone valley and the Trois Évêchés massif. Reaching the ridge opens up a magnificent view of the Bès valley, the Bélier ridges, the Blayeul and, further afield, the Barles peaks. The descent along the ridge is just as pleasant, winding through thickets of boxwood and wild thyme, whose intoxicating scents add a sensory touch to this beautiful adventure.
