The Cent Pierres peat bog, source of the Vézère river
A long loop starting from Saint-Merd-les-Oussines, through forests and moorland, to discover the remarkable Tourbière de Longeyroux, nicknamed the Tourbière des Cent Pierres (Bog of a Hundred Stones), where a multitude of rivulets are born, providing sources for the Vézère.But be careful! There are long stretches of road on this route.
Longeyroux peat bog
You will walk through the Longeyroux peat bog, where you will discover the sources of the Vézère river, in which you can take a dip. You can also follow a discovery trail through the peat bog with educational information boards.
Tarnac, mills and rocks
A very beautiful hike that takes you back to the source of the Vienne near the village of Servières and across the Chandouille on wooden bridges and granite stone bridges.

The Vienne and the Servières and Chammet lakes
A long walk to discover the hydroelectric schemes on the Vienne that led to the creation of the Servières and Chammet lakes. Tarnac, our starting point, is a beautiful village on the Plateau de Millevaches with a church, a fountain and a remarkable oak tree.
Between Corrèze and Haute-Vienne, starting from Tarnac
Hike on the Millevaches Plateau, through moors and forests. The route crosses streams and hamlets, allowing you to discover beautiful sites such as the cup-marked rocks of the Bois de Cholet, the Château de Mazeau and the castrum of Puy Murat. At the end of the hike, take the time to stroll around the pretty village of Tarnac, which has a remarkable church, fountain and Sully oak tree.
From the monastery of Jassonneix to Mont Bessou
An easy walk from the Jassonneix monastery, a landmark in Meymac, to Mont Bessou, the highest point in Limousin (1,000 metres if you include the panoramic tower). The walk follows forest paths and a quiet road.
Route du Lac de Faux
Faux-la-Montagne owes its name to its high altitude (over 700 metres above sea level) on the western edge of the Millevaches plateau. Around Lake Faux, beech and oak trees mingle with conifers, occupying what was still sheep pasture in the 19th century.
Route de Toy Viam via Petit Paris
This easy route takes you along beautiful deciduous forest paths, which are magnificent in autumn, and past the lovely Étang de Condeau lake.
Gallo-Roman site at Les Cars and the surrounding area

The Bois de Chaleix in Bugeat
Actual time: 1 hour 45 minutes
A short hike from Bugeat, along the Vézère river through the woods, very pleasant in summer as it is well shaded. You will discover the meanders of the Vézère along a narrow path right by the river. Not very practicable in winter as it is very wet.
From Lake Séchemaille to Mont Bessou via the Vézère springs.
Near Meymac, Mont Bessou (976 m) is the highest point of the Millevaches Plateau. From the top of its observation tower at just under 1,000 metres, the view is simply magnificent. This hike takes you there via the Vézère springs through the Longéroux peat bogs at the foot of Puy Pendu.
Around the ponds near Flayat
During this walk, you will discover some of the many ponds in the commune of Flayat.
You are in a mushroom-rich area and the landscape is spectacular in autumn when the trees are ablaze with colour and reflected in the ponds.
Streams, brooks and rivers, south of Felletin
Starting from Felletin, this short hike will take you along streams, rivers and brooks, wells, wash houses and drinking troughs, crossing footbridges, a typical Limousin plank bridge and even a balancing ford.
Felletin circular route to the Combes dam
This hike allows you to discover the Creuse in all its forms: a fast-flowing river north of Felletin, which slows down and spreads out before the dam, then drops downstream before resuming its course towards Aubusson.
Left bank, then right bank, the circular route also takes you to the Combes dam.
Bonnefond and the Chadebec Mill

This hike will take you to the heart of the Massif des Monédières and the Plateau des Millevaches, where numerous streams flow. The rural heritage is also rich in stones, crosses, menhirs and plank bridges. In winter, you can do this circuit on cross-country skis.
The source of the Corrèze
This walk takes you up the Corrèze, which is still just a stream that you cross several times, to its source. The route also takes in a rich heritage of buildings in the villages of Chadebec and Bonnefond and in the hamlets: crosses, fountains, wells, as well as a menhir, a mill and a remarkable lime tree.

West of Felletin
West of Felletin, starting from the hamlet of Verminier, this route crosses forests, woods, meadows and hamlets. You will cross small streams and walk along ridges that often offer unobstructed views. There are few roads on this walk, but there are a few climbs to warm up your legs.
Complete route around the priory of Saint-Angel
A complete circular route that goes around the Priory of Saint-Michel des Anges, passing through different landscapes and crossing the Triouzoune valley. Two variations allow you to shorten the main route if necessary.

A route through the pine woods starting from the village of Saint-Angel. A circular route mostly on trails, surrounded by the pine trees typical of the Haute-Corrèze, which begins at the magnificent 12th-century priory.
Route des 7 Peux
The village of Royère-de-Vassivière was established on a strategic pass on the Millevaches plateau, at the crossing point of a prehistoric ridge path. The ridge paths (or pouges) allowed people to travel long distances. They favoured the granite peaks of the rounded hills, called Puy or Peux, and avoided the damp, peaty valley bottoms that only cattle frequented.

A short walk around the magnificent restored village of Clédat, in the middle of the Larfeuil Forest. With its church, fountains and stone-built thatched cottages, Clédat will take you on a trip back through time.
The oaks of Murat
A mini-hike to discover the remarkable heritage of the hamlet of Murat: the Moulin de Travers site, the beautiful Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens church, a beautiful carved cross and two very beautiful oak trees.
Tour of the puys starting from Pradines
Prepare your calves and set off to conquer the Monèdières peaks, pushing your limits. A hike that is as breathtaking as it is exhausting. Beautiful forests and superb panoramic views. Bring a spare pair of socks: there are a few streams to cross. A few kilometres of road in total (~5), but very, very little traffic.
