Saint-Étienne-sur-Chalaronne walks

A lovely route along the paths of sunny Burgundy. Leaving Chaintré, we reach the crests of the mountains, with beautiful views of the Bois de Fée, Mont de Pouilly and La Grange du Bois. Along the way, we come across several fine castles: Château des Rontés, Château de Chasselas, Château de Leynes, Château de Lavérnette.

A pleasant walk typical of the Dombes. Mainly on tarmac but with very little traffic; you are on secondary roads. Along the route there is a high concentration of ponds, which are full of water in 2020. The view of the ponds is unobstructed and you will encounter many different birds.
