Chapel of Saint-Étienne de Braguse, former toll bridge at Gimel-les-Cascades
The Montane river plunges into the ravine in three successive waterfalls, and there is a village with a medieval character.
This route around this beautiful, steep-sided valley also allows you to discover the ruins of the church of Saint-Étienne-de-Braguse, the site of La Gour with its fourth waterfall and the ruins of the mill.
The hike continues towards the waterfalls and the old toll bridge.
This route does not go directly to the three waterfalls, which require a fee to access!

Tour of the puys starting from Pradines
Prepare your calves and set off to conquer the Monèdières peaks, pushing your limits. A hike that is as breathtaking as it is exhausting. Beautiful forests and superb panoramic views. Bring a spare pair of socks: there are a few streams to cross. A few kilometres of road in total (~5), but very, very little traffic.
The Abbesses' Path in Combressol

From Lake Séchemaille to Mont Bessou via the Vézère springs.
Near Meymac, Mont Bessou (976 m) is the highest point of the Millevaches Plateau. From the top of its observation tower at just under 1,000 metres, the view is simply magnificent. This hike takes you there via the Vézère springs through the Longéroux peat bogs at the foot of Puy Pendu.
The Saint-Bonnette: over hill and dale
A variation on the“Au gré de la Saint-Bonnette” walk (no. 18852448), passing through Bussière and returning via the P-O-C route (the former Paris–Orléans–Corrèze railway line). Views of the meandering Saint-Bonnette river, beautiful country houses, woodland and open countryside.
