Description of the walk

Park in the Monjanel car park.

(S/E) Walk up the road towards the hamlet for about 100 metres until you reach the junction with a sign indicating the trail.

(1) Turn left and go down the path.

(2) Cross the small stream that flows into the Deiro, then follow it and admire the waterfalls and mills. If you wish, you can open the mill doors to discover the old mechanism and understand how it works, thanks to the explanatory panels outside.

(3) Take the wider path on the right and climb through the undergrowth, then the fields, before joining the road.

(4) Turn right when you arrive to reach Monjanel.

(5) At the crossroads, go down to the right and cross the hamlet: building dating from 1693 with a large "bassière" (water trough) which was once used as a place of worship.

(1) Continue straight ahead to return to the starting point (S/E).
