Parque das Nações district in Lisbon
A modern neighbourhood with a water theme, featuring large glass and steel towers. It is a gentle and relaxing walk compared to the rest of Lisbon, which is much hillier. A casino and a large shopping centre have been built here.
Lisbon and the Alcantara neighbourhood
Once an abandoned neighbourhood, it has become a chic area conducive to creativity and artists. There are many warehouses and factories that have been converted into shops or high-end lofts, mixed with a wealth of artistic talent.

Belém is one of Lisbon's best-known neighbourhoods and certainly the most significant in terms of historical value. There is a lot to see and explore there. You can easily spend half a day or two whole days there.

Fragas de Sao Simao
A beautiful walk with fairly steep slopes!
We recommend swimming in the lower section (where there is no one else), as the river beach at the end is packed!
At the end of the descent, before the bridge, you will need to leave the riverbank to go around a property.
Percurso dos Poços do Barbarroxa
Short walk through the Monte Velho pine forest, then return via the beach. Difficulty walking in the sand on the way back. It is possible to return by walking along the dune rather than down it and walking on the beach. The path is marked with signs.

On the Rio Caldo in Gerês
The starting point is difficult to access by car, especially if you have low ground clearance. Once there, the car park is very small (approx. 20 spaces) but shaded. Launching canoes or paddleboards is very easy.
It is a short, peaceful trip with plenty of opportunities to pull up and take a break.
Loop in the vicinity of Furnazinhas in the Algarve
This beautiful hike will allow you to discover the magnificent landscapes of the green hills of Furnazinhas in the Algarve. The route, mostly on wide paths, is hilly, with little shade and is relatively well marked (yellow/red) despite a few gaps. Do not expect to see any houses for many kilometres.

Coastal trails of the Alentejo and Algarve
A north-south route from Porto Covo to Cabo de São Vincente (Cape St Vincent), the westernmost point of continental Europe, followed by a west-east route to Lagos. The various stages mainly follow the coastal path known as the fishermen's path, often along the edge of cliffs with superb panoramic views. The route also passes inland, notably taking the historic path through the countryside. The route also allows you to discover charming little towns, with their white houses decorated with blue trim and charming little churches.
From Zambujeira do Mar to Odeceixe
This fourth stage is long and offers a variety of landscapes. The views from the cliff edge are superb!
From Vila Nova de Milfontes to Almograve
This second stage is relatively short. It takes place in a very beautiful setting, with superb panoramic views from the edge of the cliffs.
From Porto-Covo to Vila Nova de Milfontes
This first stage of the Alentejo coastal trails has the highest proportion of sandy sections. As a result, it can seem challenging. Nevertheless, it offers superb panoramic views throughout, especially along the cliffs.
