A lovely walk along the Douro; the return route is just as good, and you arrive at the monastery with a view of Porto. You then head down through the narrow streets of Gaia to reach the quay, cross the Douro via the iron bridge, and make your way back to the tower through Old Porto
A lovely walk that costs nothing, so fellow hikers, give it a go
