Hike to the seven lakes of Gerês. Stunning lakes where you can go for a swim. Don’t forget your swimwear!
Follow the path marked by the yellow and red signposts (two horizontal lines).
There are two possible routes: turn right after the chapel for an easier route, and left for a more ‘adventurous’ one (a narrower and steeper path).

It is possible to extend the circular loop, but be careful in hot weather. The beauty of the waterfall (and its coolness) may well make it worth stopping for a break. The fountain is absolutely magnificent and it is very pleasant to have a dip there.
Alijo and the Senhora Da Cunha chapel
