This Staffordshire stroll visits the site of the largest non-nuclear explosion in the world - the Fauld Crater. It is an easy walk and offers an interesting diversion for an hour or so.

Lovely walk through one the Peak District's most famous dales, the beautiful village of Alstonfield, finishing with a traverse around Bunster Hill. This is a great walk on a sunny winter's day as the sun shines into Dovedale most of the day.

After visiting the Butterley Works, the rebels continued their march through the night of the 9th June 1817 towards Nottingham. This circular route starts from The Dog Inn and follows parts of the Pentrich and South Wingfield Revolution story. The largest community in the area in 1817, Pentrich was the centre of planning for the rebellion in Derbyshire.
