From Pas de l'Ours to La Molière from Autrans

From the hamlet of Le Truc at the north-eastern entrance to the village of Autrans, you can access La Molière mountain and discover the Isère valley and the city of Grenoble through a gap in the mountain. Higher up, you will see all the mountains surrounding Grenoble and its region. Don't look for the "pas" (step) of the bear as a paw print because, here as is often the case in the mountains, "pas" is a diminutive of "passage" (passage).

Villard-de-Lans: From Les Clots to Col Vert, return via Combe Charbonnière

Climb from the very pretty spot called Les Clots towards the Col Vert and descend via the Combe Charbonnière, a scree slope that is a little tricky to navigate. View of the Belledonne massif from the Col.
This allows you to get a good view of the Vercors landscapes and enjoy the variety of the mid-mountain terrain.
Not to be attempted in winter! Between 6 and 7, there is a high risk of avalanches, especially towards the Combe de la Charbonnière.
From La Molière to Pas de Bellecombe

A short family walk offering excellent views for the effort. Best done on a day with good visibility.
Please note: a hiker has informed us that in summer, at weekends, access to the plateau is restricted: you must take a shuttle bus (or a chairlift, which is quite far away).
La Grande Moucherolle via the Fenêtre ridge and the east ridge

Although located within a ski resort, this circular route avoids deforested and lunar landscapes as much as possible. The ascent is mostly through forest on little-used tracks. The aerial descent of the east ridge leads to the Col des Deux Sœurs. The return journey to the Pas de l'Œil is via a little-used path that continues along the foot of the Gerbier ridges. Pretty steep-sided gorge through which the Nan torrent flows. You can take a dip in the torrent in summer. A wooded trail that is lovely to stroll along.
This hike can be split into two parts. In summer, only the gorges are interesting, as the Gerlette waterfall may be dry. Best done in spring when the waters are flowing freely.
