This hike, which includes a steep climb (called the Montée du Ouf by hikers from Dijon), allows you to discover the historic Leuzeu farm, which is very well equipped for hikers, and Mont Afrique, one of the highest points in the Côte d'Or.
Tour of the five balconies overlooking the Gironde valley in Côte-d'Or
The Gironde is a stream that flows into the Ouche at Barbirey-sur-Ouche (Côte-d'Or). Its raging waters have carved out a narrow valley where rocky cliffs alternate with green slopes. The trail starts at the Jaugey wash house, classified as a "remarkable monument", and climbs up to the Roche de s'Laye balcony. It then continues to the Roche de l'Eau balcony and the charming hamlet of La Montagne. It then returns to the Jaugey slope to climb up to its balcony before reaching La Table du Druide.
