Start from the car park on the left as you leave Baulme-la-Roche (picnic area).
(S/E) Follow the path (the ‘Sentier du Cornouiller’ on the map), which takes you on a gentle climb to the first junction.
(1) Turn right, then left, and you’ll reach ventilation shaft XV.
(2) Leave the signposted path here and cross the road to take the path opposite.
Stroll leisurely through the peaceful woodland, where you’ll come across other ventilation shafts, until you reach Blaizy-Haut.
(3) Don’t forget to take a detour to see the beautifully restored castle, although it is not open to visitors.
(4) Retrace your steps.
(3) Take the path on the left: this passes close to the Source de la Tuère, crosses a road and then turns left into the woods to rejoin the road.
(5) Follow this road to Chamoy-lès-Blaizy, crossing the D16.
(6) At the chapel, take the small path on the right and continue until you reach a junction with the D104C.
(7) On the left, in the car park, take the very well-signposted path leading to the top of the Baume-la-Roche cliffs.
(8) Then turn back and head down to the car park.
(7) Take the path on the left which leads back down to the starting car park (S/E).
