Park in the square by the village hall.
This route is marked in yellow.
(S/E) Leave the car park on the left, passing the town hall and the school.
(1) At the church, turn right, then left onto Rue du Paradis; ignore Rue des Gardes and continue straight on towards the south-west.
(2) At the isolated house on the right, at a crossroads, take the path on the right heading north-west and climb up alongside the Bois de Fressin until you reach the junction with a road.
(3) Turn left and follow Rue de la Lance. Turn right onto the road. At the T-junction, turn left.
(4) After about 200 m, turn right. At the T-junction, turn right.
(5) At the T-junction at the bottom of the path, turn left onto Rue de l'Épaule then right after 100 m.
(6) At the next junction, cross the road and La Planquette and follow the path up onto the plateau. At the top of the path, follow the road to the right and pass in front of the Tronquoy farm.
(7) At the end of the path, turn left; at the junction by the chapel, continue straight on and at the next crossroads turn left into Rue de l'Enfer.
(8) At the bend, follow the path to the top. Then, continue to the right along the path.
(9) Follow the path on the right which leads back down towards Fressin; at the bottom, turn left and follow Rue du Godiamont. Cross La Planquette and turn right.
(10) At the wayside shrine, take the path on the left towards the Bois de Fressin. At the entrance to the woods, turn right and follow the path that runs along the edge of the woods. At the end of the path, go through the gate and continue along the track. You will see the ruins of Fressin Castle on your right.
(2) Back at the crossroads, take the road on the right.
(11) At the bottom of the road, at the crossroads, turn left onto Rue Georges Bernanos, pass his former home and continue along this street.
(1) At the church, go straight on until you reach the village hall square (S/E).
