Beautiful climb up the southern slopes of Mont Ventoux from the hamlet of Sainte Colombe 4 km from Bédoin.

This hike on the southern slope of Mont Ventoux, narrow, wooded and always chilly, carved out by capricious waters, leads to a vast panoramic view.

There is a plethora of routes, all with varied and unconventional signposting. In short, you can get lost! And you can even find some dangerous spots. On this safe hike, you'll admire some splendidly original landscapes, with colours ranging from blood red to golden yellow. An absolute must! Take a walk between Mormoiron and Villes-sur-Auzon on the trails of old ochre quarries.

Climbing the hill of Notre-Dame des Anges from the typical village of Mormoiron offers a magnificent view of the Giant of Provence (Mont Ventoux). The varied route includes an ascent that resembles a mid-range mountain. The asphalt descent on the return journey takes you back to the village of Mormoiron, facing the Ventoux, with all the villages at the foot of the Ventoux in view: Mormoiron, Flassan, Bedoin, Caromb, Villes sur Auzon, etc.

Discover the vegetation's biodiversity of the Mont Ventoux. From Bedoin, take the road (by car) leading to the Mont Ventoux. Cross the remarkable cedar's forest then the beech forest will appear. Continue (approx. 10km) until you find a car park on the right-hand side. (Jas des Melettes)

Lovely hike without much difficulty. After climbing uphill for just under a kilometre, just enough time to reach an altitude of 700 m, where the the panoramic view of Lubéron with its lowlands and further below the valley behind Murs, opens up to you. Just for your enjoyment, this view will last for more than 4 km. The majority of the circular hike is through forest paths.
