Route in Gardonnenque in Saint-Mamert-du-Gard
This walk allows you to discover part of the Gardonnenque region located north-west of Nîmes.
Between vineyards and heath, you will pass through four villages: Saint-Mamert, Parignargues, Gajan and Fons. On the hilltops, on a clear day, at the Saint-Mamert mill, you can enjoy a 180° panorama from Pic Saint-Loup to Mont Bouquet, via Mont Aigual and Mont Lozère. In the foreground is the Bois des Leins massif.

This is a simple hike with little elevation gain, just over 20 km, so it's a bit challenging but still accessible to many. Above all, it's a very pleasant hike. Starting from Euzet-les-Bains, this route takes you through Saint-Hippolyte-de-Caton, Saint-Étienne-d'Olm, Saint-Cézaire-de-Gauzignan, Saint-Maurice-de-Cazevieille and Saint-Jean-de-Ceyrargues. Between each village, you will pass through pleasant countryside with fields and woods.
