When coming to Saint-Sébastien-d'Aigrefeuille via the D217 from Anduze, park in the hamlet of La Fabrègue in a small car park on the right-hand side of the road, just after crossing the bridge over the Amous. Information board on local walks and arsenic pollution! This route is marked in yellow throughout.
(S/E) The "La Fabrègue" sign is located in the car park. Follow the road towards "Pont de l'Amous" and, at the end of the bridge, continue along the road towards "Le Quérier". At the "Le Quérier" signpost, take the road on the left towards "Le Faou", crossing the bridge over the Amous, which has turned very red after its confluence with the Reigous, at the town hall. Continue along the path that extends the road.
(1) At the "Le Faou" signpost, continue straight ahead towards "La Cabanette". Ignore a path on the left at an intermittent stream. Further on, ignore a path on the right and turn left towards the first houses of La Cabanette. At the crossroads, follow the street on the left to reach the "La Cabanette" signpost.
(2) Follow the street on the left towards "Cabriès". Keep left at the next intersection, then ignore a path on the left. The path offers a view of the valley.
(3) Further on, at a ruined house on the left, there are no markings: ignore the path on the left, then turn right again a few metres further on to find an old marking on a tree. Arrive at the hamlet of Cabriès and the signpost of the same name.
(4) Follow the small road on the left towards "la Salée". At the "la Salée" signpost, continue straight on towards "la Vigne".
(5) Cross this hamlet, keeping to the left. At the exit, follow the Castelas road for a few metres, then turn left onto Chemin du Saladou. You will arrive at the "la Vigne" signpost further down.
(6) Continue straight ahead towards "Saint-Sébastien 0.7 km". Shortly afterwards, you will come to a barrier with a yellow cross. Follow the path that branches off to the right. You will come to another yellow cross, and continue along the path that branches off to the right. The path descends until you reach La Fabrègue.
(7) Go down the paved slanting street, arrive at a small square (fountain on the left behind a wall) and continue to the right on the Sentier de la Fontaine. Arrive at the "Saint-Sébastien-la-Fabrègue" signpost and follow the signs to the right towards "la Fabrègue" to quickly reach the car park (S/E).
