Cabane du Eckgrod walks
The Seebach waterfalls and Lac du Ballon
This hike, mainly in the forest, follows the Lauch river and then climbs up through the Belchenseebach gorges, alongside a series of magnificent waterfalls, to reach the romantic Lac du Ballon.
The trail is steep in places and some sections are slippery, but they are safe and the views are well worth the effort. The return journey is relaxing, with the option of stopping for refreshments at a farmhouse inn.

An easy route, gently undulating across the highest peaks of the Vosges, through stubble fields and forests. Magnificent views over the surrounding valleys.
Petit Ballon - Sengern
The route begins in alpine pastureland, then passes through very shady forests.
Le Col du Grand Ballon depuis Soultz
Randonnée presque quasiment en montée qui permet de relier Soultz, sympathique village culturel, au Col du Grand Ballon où vous pourrez passer la nuit avant d'aller le lendemain matin au sommet. Bien que cette étape soit courte en kilomètres, elle comporte un important dénivelé à ne pas négliger. Mais que de beautés en revanche entre les forêts et points de vues remarquables dans la dernière partie du parcours.

From the Cabane des Champis to Lac de Blanchemer
Starting from Les Champis, the route passes through the Marécage Rouge Feigne, the Col de Thiaville (alt. 1,112 m), the Hohneck (alt. 1,363 m) and the Col du Wormspel (alt. 1,277 m) before descending towards Lac de Blanchemer.
From Lake Longemer to Lake Blanchemer
The first stage of a two-day bivouac hike with an overnight stay at Lac de Blanchemer, passing by Lac du Lispach, which is reminiscent of a Canadian landscape, and the Machais peat bog.
