The Seebach waterfalls and Lac du Ballon
This walk, mainly through woodland, follows the River Lauch before climbing through the Belchenseebach Gorge, past a succession of magnificent waterfalls, to reach the romantic Lac du Ballon.The path is sometimes steep and some sections are slippery, but they are safe and the view is well worth the effort. A relaxing return journey with the option of stopping for a bite to eat at a farmhouse inn.

An easy route, gently undulating across the highest peaks of the Vosges, through stubble fields and forests. Magnificent views over the surrounding valleys.
Petit Ballon - Sengern
The route begins in alpine pastureland, then passes through very shady forests.
Le Col du Grand Ballon depuis Soultz
Randonnée presque quasiment en montée qui permet de relier Soultz, sympathique village culturel, au Col du Grand Ballon où vous pourrez passer la nuit avant d'aller le lendemain matin au sommet. Bien que cette étape soit courte en kilomètres, elle comporte un important dénivelé à ne pas négliger. Mais que de beautés en revanche entre les forêts et points de vues remarquables dans la dernière partie du parcours.

This route is not accessible in winter. The route is closed between (3), (4), (5) and (6) from 1 November to 30 April 2022 (Prefectural Order of 18 May 2022).

Starting from the Chalet de Rouge Mousse, the route takes you to Lac des Corbeaux, then via the GR®533 to La Roche Beauty (viewpoint), and on to Mont Moyenmont (alt. 969 m) to reach La Chaume des Champis and its hut.
