South of Coiffy-le-Haut
A very lovely little walk, especially in autumn, through the woods and vineyards of Coiffy-le-Haut, with lovely views.
Les Six Filles
A short, easy walk to discover a remarkable tree, "Les Six Filles", and remember the Maquis des Lochères.
Puy Griou from Col du Pertus
An easy, shaded approach to this iconic peak in the Monts du Cantal, with its perfect cone shape and superb views. However, the final climb is quite technical and challenging.
Puy de l'Usclade from Col du Pertus
Puy de l'Usclade is little known, but offers a beautiful view of Puy Griou and the other surrounding peaks. The first part of the walk, up to Col de Gliziou, is easy and shaded, and fairly busy, while the second part is less frequented and ends with a steeper section.
Between Morey-Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny
A lovely little walk alternating between valleys, plateaus, views and vineyards.
Les Roches Folles
A short hike for residents of Mandailles who want to go for a walk without taking the car.
Suc de Montivernoux
A short, easy walk offering a stunning 360° view from the summit of the knoll of Montivernoux.
Roche Tabot
A short, shaded walk along paths that are sometimes little-used, offering a beautiful view of Val-Suzon from Roche Tabot.
From Pernand-Vergelesses to Villers-la-Faye
A very beautiful walk, especially in October when the vineyards are ablaze with colour, in the Hautes-Côtes between vineyards and woods in a hilly landscape, with pretty views, particularly above Pernand-Vergelesses. The hike is fairly easy, on good paths, despite a few short but steeper slopes. You can picnic in the wash house at Villers-la-Faye, which has been converted for hikers.
Around Saulx-le-Duc
A short, easy and very pleasant hike leading to the Butte Saint-Siméon in Saulx-le-Duc, the highest point offering a beautiful view of the Ignon valley. No technical difficulty, but the climb to the Butte Saint-Siméon is steady.
Roche Chèvre cave from Détain-et-Bruant
This hike, mainly in the forest and on the heights of the Côte-d'Or, will take you to the vast Grotte de Roche Chèvre cave, which is well worth a visit. Please note, however, that there are two passages with tall grass.
