Park your car in the large lay-by along the D122, between Mézilhac and Lachamp-Raphaël, at the junction with the D205.
(S/E) Head west along the small road used by theGRP® route, which passes through Le Citron. Continue slightly to the right. At Badel, the road becomes a track.
(1) Leave the return track on your left and continue straight on until you reach a multi-way junction.
(2) Turn left and join the D354, which you follow carefully to the right for about 1.2 km, continuing to follow the GRP®.
(3) Leave the road and theGRP® at the first path on the right.
(4) At the V-shaped junction, take the path opposite which climbs to the summit of Knoll de Montivernoux (1,441 m).
(5) After admiring the view and identifying the main peaks using the two information boards, retrace your steps.
(4) Turn right onto the path that goes round the knoll through the woods and leads back to the multi-way junction from the outward journey.
(2) A few metres further on, turn left onto a level path through a meadow. At the first junction, take the path on the left downhill, which joins theGRP® just before Badel.
(1) Turn right and return via the small road taken on the way out to the car park (S/E).
