Go to the Méribel-Mottaret station, cross it and park in the Lac de Tuéda car park.
(S/E) Walk about 100 metres along the track towards Lac de Tuéda and take the path on the left just before the public toilets.
(1) Leave the track and follow the path on the left towards the Refuge du Saut. When you reach the Route du Châtelet, follow it uphill for about 800 m, passing under the funicular railway, and continue to the end of the road after passing the three garages on the right. You will reach the start of the path on the right behind the buildings (signposted Refuge du Saut).
(2) Set off along this beautiful path which climbs through the Bois de la Ramée and arrives at the crossroads where the Cave du Fruit is located.
(3) After visiting the cave, continue along the path towards Le Saut through the Bois de la Ramée and you will reach a crossroads (altitude 2024). Ignore the path climbing to the left and continue straight ahead on the descending path to reach the Vallon du Fruit, pass by the springs and you will reach a crossroads.
(4) Ignore the path climbing to the left towards the Col du Fruit and continue on the right bank of the Doron des Allues. Cross the footbridge and immediately follow the path to the left to rejoin the track.
(5) Follow the track to the left until you reach the pretty Chalets de la Plagne with the small lake nestled behind them, which is invisible from the track. Walk for about 200 m, leave the track and take the path on the right. Cross the wooden footbridge, continue following the clear stream and you will reach Lac des Fées.
(6) After a break, if desired, return to the track and follow it to the Refuge du Saut.
(7) Take the route in the opposite direction until you reach the fork after the Chalets de la Plagne.
(5) Continue along the track on the left bank of the Doron des Allues and after about 500 m, begin the fairly steep descent and leave the track to reach the Chalet du Fruit.
(8) Continue downhill. The path crosses the track in two places before reaching a junction with a sign for "Refuge du Plan".
(9) Turn right, cross the Doron des Allues bridge and, after a short climb, you will reach the Chalet Refuge du Plan.
(10) Continue along the path and join the Plateau de Tuéda.
(11) Follow the wide path to the right, pass by the edge of Lac de Tuéda, going around it on the right, and reach its northern end.
(12) Leave the wide path that continues around the lake and turn right onto the small botanical trail. Cross the wooden footbridge through the reeds to reach the track that leads back to the car park (S/E).
