Serre de Beaupuy via the Col de Côte Chèvre
A lovely, easy walk offering views of the south of Glandasse and part of the Cirque d'Archiane. You may see griffon vultures. 225° view from the top of Serre de Beaupuy. Not a very busy walk.
Circular Bénevise route via the Pas des Ampes and Tussac
A lovely circular route to Tussac via the Pas des Ampes. This route allows you to admire the Rocher de Combau from its most picturesque angles and to discover the Cirque d’Archiane from commanding yet lesser-known vantage points. This route is relatively shaded in summer, with numerous sections through the woodland.
A circular route around the Croix du Lautaret via the Pas de la Plane and the Pas des Ampes
This is a circular loop that immerses you in the world of the Southern Vercors Hauts Plateaux, with no major difficulties other than navigation, and reasonable elevation gains. For lovers of solitude and wide open spaces who aren’t put off by venturing off the beaten track.
Third Arch of Archiane circular loop via the Château de Tussac
This rugged hike, starting from Archiane, requires a good sense of direction, sure-footedness and the ability to navigate a somewhat hostile and chaotic environment. However, in the end, you’ll have the pleasure of admiring the most beautiful arch in the Vercors!
Les Carnets d'Archiane
A lovely little hike that allows you to easily explore the Cirque d'Archiane. Discovering this place is magical as it is surrounded by magnificent cliffs. You are bound to come across a couple of griffon vultures nesting in the crevices of the rock and gliding over the cliffs.
The Jardin du Roi from Archiane
A little-used circular trail to discover one of the wildest areas of the southern Vercors. It offers magnificent views of the Diois mountains and the Cirque d'Archiane. Ibex and vultures are frequently seen here.
As it is largely unmarked, a good sense of direction and ability to read the terrain will be invaluable. GPS is strongly recommended and an IGN map is essential.

High plateaus of the Vercors by Archiane
This hike takes you from the picturesque Cirque d'Archiane to the high plateaus of the Vercors and offers exceptional views of Mont Aiguille and Grand Veymont.
Tour des Sucettes de Bornes
A beautiful hike around the Bellemotte mountain, first through the forest and then along a ridge offering spectacular views. The descent passes by the Sucettes de Bornes, an interesting geological curiosity.

The Archiane vulture trail - Châtillon-en-Diois
Set off to explore the majestic Archiane cirque, which has become a favourite nesting place for vultures. Discover the four species present in the Vercors through explanatory panels and observation points. As you walk along the trail, you may also spot some ibex.
Vallon de Combau - Tête Chevalière, Vercors
A hike in Drôme and Isère, but starting from the Vercors drômois side.

During the months of May and June, the Vallon du Combau is must-visit destination, where you can enjoy the flora and fauna, particularly marmottes.
A relatively easy hike up to the Pas de l'Essaure pass, then a little more difficult.
Combeau valley via Tête Chevalière and Tête de Praorzel
Discover one of the jewels of the Vercors with breathtaking views of Mont Aiguille, Grand Veymont, Valbonnais and Écrins in the distance. You may spot ibex, chamois and wild boar below between Pas de l'Essaure and Tête Chevalière.
La Croix du Lautaret and the Haut Plateau du Vercors Sud
A very enjoyable route on the wild high plateau of southern Vercors. Solitude is guaranteed, except for ibex, marmots and vultures.
There are no marked trails on this hike, only a few topographical landmarks to help you navigate the nearly 16 km. However, orientation is easy, as the view is generally very clear. This hike is excellent practice for off-trail hiking.

Le Jocou from the Col de Menée
I recommend a very beautiful route to reach the summit of Jocou from the Col de Menée. This route mainly follows ridgelines (via Mont Barral) on the border between the Diois and Trièves regions, offering stunning panoramic views of the Vercors, Dévoluy and Écrins massifs.
