During the months of May and June, the Vallon du Combau is must-visit destination, where you can enjoy the flora and fauna, particularly marmottes.
A relatively easy hike up to the Pas de l'Essaure pass, then a little more difficult.

Chichilianne - Bénevise via the Pas de l'Essaure and the Vallon Combau
This beautiful hike takes you to the Hauts Plateaux du Vercors National Nature Reserve via the Pas de l'Essaure, then down the Drôme side through one of the most beautiful sites in the Vercors, the Vallon Combau, before reaching the hamlet of Bénevise on a promontory.It offers beautiful views of Mont Aiguille, the valley and the Combau rock, a feast for the senses, combined with the historical, geological, botanical and faunal riches of the area you are crossing.
Clelles - Ferme du Désert
The first day is a long one, starting at the foot of Mont-Aiguille with alternating steep climbs and gentler passages through mountain pastures and forests.

The second day takes you to the highest point of the route: Le Grand Veymont. It offers a magnificent view of the Vercors high plateaus, Mont Aiguille and the valley. There is a good chance of seeing ibex and marmots!

The first stage starts at Champ de l'Herse and goes to Pas des Bachassons. It passes by the Brisou ridge, offering a first panoramic view. There is a climb of over 1,000 metres, but you will be rewarded by the beauty of Pas des Bachassons.
