Veules-les-Roses is considered one of the most beautiful villages in France. Discover Veules through its picturesque narrow streets, its traditional mills, its beach, its Norman thatched cottages and its white chalk cliffs – an unmissable destination where Victor Hugo loved to stroll along the banks of the Veules.

From Veules-les-Roses to Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer via the GR®21
Second part of the stage on the afternoon ofthe fifth day. Apart from the steps at Sotteville and Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer, there’s nothing particularly exciting about a coastalGR® route that’s so far from the coast.
Circular at La Chapelle-sur-Dun
A bucolic stroll along forest paths and local heritage sites.This route takes you along the old forest paths, which border the fields and connect the villages. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy beautiful views of the Cauchoise countryside while discovering the rural heritage that punctuates the route.

A pleasant walk which, whilst not flat, presents no difficulty; the paths are well maintained.

The route takes us through villages and hamlets typical of the Pays de Caux. The end of the route passes through a place emblematic of local agricultural activity: the Fontaine-le-Dun sugar factory, where sugar is extracted from white sugar beet from September to December.

This lovely little walk will allow you to discover the banks of the Saâne before it flows into the sea.
Discover Varengeville-sur-Mer and its charming houses. Pass close to the Manoir d'Ango.
Stroll through the woods of Les Moutiers de Vasterival and Sainte-Marguerite.
