Description of the walk

Park on Place Mélingue, facing the sea.

(S/E) With your back to the car park, take Rue Melingue. At the no entry sign, turn left into Rue Melingue for 100 metres and continue along the path beside the Veules. You will come out onto Rue du Bouloir.

(1) Turn left, cross the small bridge over the Veules, turn left then right. Turn right onto Rue Jules Truffier and, almost at the end, turn right and return via Chemin Henry Maret. Cross the Veules again and return to Rue du Bouloir.

(1) Follow it to the left, at the intersection turn left onto Rue Docteur Pierre Girard and pass in front of the post office and the École Élémentaire les Albatros. Turn right onto Rue Hericher, then left onto Rue du Couvent. Pass in front of the town hall, walk along the tennis courts and turn right onto Rue du Vieux Château for about a hundred metres.

(2) Take Sentier de la Cavée Blondel on the left, which becomes a road further on. Turn left onto Allée du Clos Saint-Martin, then at the end, turn right onto a footpath. Cross Chemin des Cressonnières and arrive at Source de la Veules.

(3) Continue along the Voie Communale Charles de Gaulle until you reach a roundabout.

(4) Go around it on the left, continue along Rue Jean Moulin, pass Chemin Émile Pierrot on your left and arrive at a small roundabout.

(5) Turn left onto a small path that descends via steps on the left. Please note: these steps are not very visible. They lead to Cavée Sotteville. Follow this path to the end. Turn right onto Rue Auguste Vacquerie, cross Rue Général Barbot and continue to Square Saint-Nicolas. Cross to the left and take the steps that lead back to the car park (S/E).
