Departure from the Canon car park.
(S/E) Head left, along the access road that brought you here.
(1) When you reach the D68, take the road opposite that passes in front of Camping les Mouettes. After 200 m, continue straight ahead on the path opposite.
Leave the salt path on your right and continue straight ahead on theGR®21.
(2) At the end of the road, turn left.
Follow the path for 1,200 m and take thethird path on your right.
(3) When you reach Croix Boulet, take the tree-lined path opposite and continue straight ahead after the trees. At the intersection, continue straight ahead.
until you reach the D89.
(4) Turn right and after 500 metres, pass Château Saint-Jean.
(5) Continue, cross the D925 with caution and take the Sente de la Forrière opposite. Continue straight ahead, follow the hairpin bend on the left. After 250 m, turn right and after 50 m turn right again, follow the road and turn right at the three-way junction.
(6) After a cemetery, take the path that leads into the fields on the right. Follow the path straight ahead for 500 m, which branches off to the left. Continue to the end, about 1000 m, and turn right onto the D925.
(7) Turn left towards Veules-les-Roses. After 400 m, turn left and then immediately right. Follow Chemin du Val for 300 m. It turns left at the end. Do not continue along Cavée du Renard, but turn right onto Cavée d'Iclon, which joins the D925.
(8) Turn left and continue for 300 metres. The circuit of France's smallest river starts on the right just before the car park.
(9) Turn right to see the source and the watercress beds.
Resume the circuit and immediately turn left onto Chemin des Fonds (be careful, it is hidden). You can continue on Chemin des Cressonnières and see the pretty thatched cottages if you are not familiar with the area. Return to Cavée de la Croix at the end of the road on the left.
Go up and take the path on the right that passes behind the gardens.
At the end of the path, turn left immediately onto the Cavée de la Croix la Dame.
Go straight up, and when you reach the road, continue straight ahead, leaving the La Croix la Dame residence on your right.
(10) At the first intersection, turn right onto Chemin du Crucifix.
After 100 metres, turn right, continue straight ahead and ignore the first road on your left.
(11) Take the second left onto Rue du Manoir and continue on the left onto Rue Eugène Manuel. Pass the Anaïs Aubert cinema on your right and take the street on the left after the cinema. Continue straight ahead and take the Cavée du Marché opposite. Go up to a road.
(12) Turn right and after 400 m, turn left towards the water treatment plant.
(13) Take the road on the right at the end. Follow this road towards Veules. After a small stone staircase, turn right onto Rue Belle Mère and, after 150 m at number 12, take the small staircase on the left. At the bottom, turn right onto Rue de la Mer.
(14) In front of the cinema, turn left onto Rue Jean Lamy and then immediately right onto Place de l'Église. Turn left and then immediately right onto the small Rue Cayet et Émile Féret.
(15) Join the main street and follow it to the right.
After 50 metres, turn right onto Rue Jean Maret, then left and right at the three-way junction. Follow Rue du Vieux Château and leave Route des Cressonnières on your right.
(16) Walk along the watering trough and turn left onto Rue Geneviève Billard. Cross Rue du Docteur Pierre Billard.
(17) Follow the river route Chemin des Champs Élysées. After 500 m, turn left onto Chemin Henry Maret until you reach the bridge near the Moulin du Marché
(18) Turn left, go 20 m along Rue Gabriel Marty, turn right in front of the Couleurs de Lin shop and immediately right onto Rue du Bouloir. Follow the path to the left of the river and continue to the bridge.
(19) Turn right twice to take the path that runs alongside the river in the other direction. Follow the path. At the end, turn left and go up the steps on the right. Turn left, passing the Croix des Lépreux. Follow Rue Jules Truffier and then Auguste Vacquerie.
(20) Cross the Jardin Saint-Nicolas near the ruins of the church.
Go down the steps and turn right to reach the esplanade.
Go to the end of the esplanade to see the Grotte de Mr Victor Hugo, take the stairs to reach the Route de la Corniche. Once on the road, turn left and immediately take the small path on the left that runs along the cliffs and takes you back to the car park (S/E).

No point! Why walk through the Normandy countryside avoiding the villages and the sea? It's like Picardy... I'd recommend crossing Sotteville and heading down to the beach from the car park to the north to reach Veules between the cliffs and the sea at low tide
