Description of the walk

Parking is available on Grande Rue, along the church wall.

(S/E) At the foot of the church, take Rue de la Mairie until you reach a fork before the cemetery.

(1) Turn right towards Blosseville-sur-Mer, pass the cemetery and turn right onto the first road and follow it to a T-junction.

(2) Turn right and join the D925.

(3) Turn left and continue downhill for about 200 metres until you reach the first road on the right. Turn right, with the Trail Moto route on your left. Follow this road, a short section of the GR®21, until you reach the small road at about 1600 metres, Rue Maréchal in Sotteville-sur-Mer.

(4) Turn right, pass number 222 on the street and turn onto the first road on the right, Chemin des Forrières. The grassy path is followed by a paved section. Ignore Chemin de la Forge on the left. The path becomes grassy again. Continue to the next crossroads, at Croix Boulet.

(5) Keep left and continue straight ahead until you reach the D89, Rue des Gimblays.

(6) Turn right, pass in front of Château Saint-Jean, now known as Orangerie Saint-Jean, and continue to the D925.

(7) Cross it carefully, continue straight ahead along the Sente de la Forrière and turn left onto the Chemin du Simplon. At the road, turn right to reach the church (S/E).

As advertised, a picturesque walk through the fields, but not particularly interesting. No landmarks. Just the start/finish point, with the church and town hall nearby.
A small bar at the starting point offers refreshments on your return from the walk.
