Park in the car park at the far end of the marina.
(S/E) Walk alongside the docks along Avenue Clémenceau, then continue along Quai du Havre. Do not cross the lock bridge but continue straight on along Quai de la Batellerie, passing the Maison Henri IV, then keep to the right onto Quai d’Aval. Then turn left onto the Sentier des Douaniers for a few hundred metres to reach the viewpoint overlooking the harbour and the town.
(1) Turn back towards the lock bridge. Cross it to reach the Quai d’Amont and head down towards the seafront, following it as far as the casino.
(2) Turn right to walk alongside the car park, then right again onto Rue des Remparts. Turn left onto Rue du Casino, then leave it immediately to take the steps leading to the Costes and Bellonte monument.
(3) Turn your back on the monument and continue to the left. Just before the tarmac road, turn right onto the Cavée aux Ânes, which leads onto Rue Traversière. Follow this to the right until you reach the first street on the left, Rue de Veules, which you take to reach the modern-style chapel.
(4) Turn left to cross the Place du Marché, go round the roundabout and follow Avenue Foch, which leads straight back to the car park (S/E).
