La Forestière in La Seyne
The walk is mainly on tracks, except for the first kilometre which is on a footpath. Explore the La Blanche State Forest. Round trip to Clos des Ayres (possible picnic spot). Return via the Bellevue Forest House. This route initially follows the GR®69 – La Routo.

The route from Grosse Pierre to Selonnet
This walk, accessible from Selonnet, offers the chance to discover a gem of the UNESCO Haute-Provence Geopark. The La Grosse Pierre trail leads to a panoramic view of the village of Selonnet and its surroundings, and, above all, to an impressive 550-tonne block of sandstone.
This family-friendly route is signposted with yellow signs indicating the “Route de la Pierre Grosse”.
From Selonnet to Chardavon via Les Clots
A challenging hike starting from Selonnet, reaching the accommodation at the Chabanon resort, then descending through the Ganayes and Chardavon forest to Seyne, before returning via the Chemin des Courses.This circular route offers beautiful views of the Blanche valley and Selonnet.
The ridges of Grand Puy
A fairly easy hike starting from the Grand Puy ski resort with a beautiful panorama along the ridge: from Montagne de la Blanche in the east to Les Monges in the west, via Pic de Bure.
Lacs du Col Bas
The Col Bas is reached without any significant difficulty. It is a gradual climb to a pass offering breathtaking views of Provence, stretching as far as Mont Ventoux on a clear day, the Écrins and the Ubaye. The Massif de la Blanche is a must-see panoramic vista. The route continues through the Vallon du Loup, forming a large and beautiful cirque, where you’ll discover some stunning lakes, some of which may be dry depending on the time of year. An accessible, varied and magnificent hike.
Dormillouse loop via the Col Bas and Lac Noir
This lovely, easy walk will take you to a very alpine setting in just a few dozen minutes from the car park. The climb to Lac Noir is gentle and the scenery is very pleasant. You then reach Dormillouse at 2,505 metres, the highest point of the walk, after a steep but easy climb. There is a splendid view from the fort at the summit and the return journey is via the spectacular military path overlooking the Blanche valley.
