From Selonnet to Chardavon via Les Clots

(S/E) Starting from the town hall in Selonnet, follow the Route de la Boulangère, passing the village hall and the leisure area. At the "Le Pourret" hiking sign, head towards La Rochette on the left, crossing the fields for about 60 metres.

(1) Climb up to the right through the black earth.

(2) At the top of the black earth, take the path on the left.

(3) At Brouasses, head towards La Rochette/Chabanon on the left. Continue to the next crossroads in the middle of the forest.

(4) Follow the path on the left.

(5) Enjoy the viewpoint and its picnic tables before setting off again , passing the Clots chalets and following the signs for Chabanon. At the road, turn right. Then turn right again after the bend. At the end of the path, continue on the right.

(6) At the Clots ski lift, take the track on the left towards the forest to reach a crossroads.

(7) Take the track on the left and descend.

(8) At the ravine, head towards Selonnet on the left. You will arrive at a wide track near a stream at the end of the descent. Follow it to the left towards Selonnet.

(9) At the hamlet of Haut Chardavon, take Chemin des Courses on the left and continue straight ahead until you reach the junction from the outward journey.

(1) Continue straight ahead for about 60 metres, then turn right in the opposite direction to the outward route until you reach Selonnet (S/E).

The terrain between Brouasses and La Rochette is very steep. The descent between Ravin des Ganiayes and Haut Chardavin can be slippery.
