Sermiers walks

A circular loop from Sermiers to Chamery through fields and back through vineyards.

In the heart of the Montagne de Reims Regional Nature Park, come and discover this walk that takes you across both sides of the Courtagnon valley, a small village in Champagne situated at the end of a dead-end road. A touch of mid-mountain atmosphere.

A hike on paths that are accessible in all seasons. You will pass through magnificent forests and vineyards, with a beautiful view of Reims. Stone paths, small roads with no traffic and single-track trails. The route is easy, as it follows theGR® (GRP® de l'Ardre andGR®142) in their current version (not the one on the maps), and is well marked for over half of the way.

This is a walk through the woods that can be done at a brisk pace or as a family stroll. Pass by the remarkable tree "Le Chêne des Trois Frères" and the pretty village of Courtagnon with its small vineyard.

Between Épernay and Reims, this is a ten-kilometre route accessible in all weathers. It can be done as a simple walk with children (possibly with an all-terrain pushchair) or as a brisk walk.

This is a hike for lovers of beautiful trees. From the Maison Forestière du Cadran to Pourcy, you can admire several remarkable trees, whose history is recounted on information panels. You can visit the Maison du Parc and return via a quiet road through the pretty village of Courtagnon.

This is a long hike through woods and vineyards, accessible by train from the TER stations in Rilly-la-Montagne or Germaine. It is 23 km long, but can be shortened to 18 km by taking the train from Rilly-la-Montagne to Germaine. Its main attractions are the route of remarkable trees and a beautiful view of Reims in good weather.

An easy walk through vineyards and fields.

This hike will take you across the Montagne de Reims along beautiful paths with almost no tarmac. Much of it is marked by the Randonneurs & pèlerins 51 association. You will meet walkers from all over the world, especially Holland and Belgium. The outward or return journey is by TER train between Aÿ station and Rilly-la-Montagne station, where you can park for free. It is accessible from Paris either by TER via Epernay or by TGV via Reims.

This lovely forest walk in Rilly-la-Montagne is ideal for families and nature lovers who want to stretch their legs on a simple and pleasant route. We did it with a baby in a baby carrier, so it was no problem (however, it is not suitable for pushchairs).

Everythird weekend in July, Les Secrets du Petit Bonhomme are given a new twist, allowing you to explore the village of Rilly-la-Montagne via the existingPR79 trail with a few variations. Interesting viewpoints, a link between the forest, the village and the vineyards, and features related to the village’s floral displays. Route available all year round, except in the forest during the hunting season.

A short hike, mainly through the forest. Pleasant in summer but best avoided in heavy rain due to muddy patches. In some places, you leave the path entirely and it is essential to follow the trail. A GPS or the Visorando app is recommended for following the route due to numerous new paths as well as paths leading nowhere.

This is a lovely walk in a little-known area, the Ardre Valley. The walk takes you over hills and through valleys, across Champagne vineyards, fields and forests. It starts at the beautiful Saint-Lié Chapel in Ville-Dommange.
