(S/E) Departure from Sermiers Town Hall Square. Go down Rue du Franc Mousset on the car park side, heading north-west, to the last house on the right-hand side of the road.
(1) Take the path on the right and continue.
(2) At the end of the path, turn right, pass the football pitch and continue straight ahead. 130 metres after the Ruisseau du Rouillat, turn left, continue straight ahead at the first intersection, then turn left again at the crossroads at elevation 141. Follow a high-voltage power line and continue straight ahead at each intersection to reach the D22.
(3) After crossing the D22, 35 metres further on, take the path on the left that runs alongside the woods. 150 metres after the end of the woods, turn right towards the water treatment plant, go around it on the right and join Rue du Gluten (EDF power line parallel to the street) in the village of Chamery.
(4) Cross the D26 (Route de Champagne) and follow Rue de l'Église opposite until you reach the square. Turn left onto Rue du Voisin, then right onto Rue de la Petite Fontaine and finally left onto Rue du Luth. At the end of the street, turn right onto the vineyards. Continue straight ahead on the slightly steep path until you reach the edge of the woods.
(5) At the edge of the woods, take the path on the left between two vineyards. After 400 metres, follow the path on the right, then right again after 120 metres. Ignore the two paths on the right; do not enter the woods, but continue along the path, which curves sharply to the left, ignoring the paths on the left and right.
(6) At the T-junction, turn left to reach the hamlet of Montaneuf. At the entrance to the hamlet, take the first road on the right and then turn right again to reach a vineyard path. Continue straight on until you reach the D22.
(7) Cross and continue straight ahead at each intersection to cross the hamlet of Saint-Martin and then Courtaumont, where you can see an old wash house. Continue and cross the D26, then take the first path on the left to return to the car park (S/E) via Rue de la Babaude.
