This alternative offers a shorter version of the circular Du Lyssandre à l'Engranne, where you will have the opportunity to admire rolling hills, vineyards and woodlands, offering many different views. From Branne, take the picturesque little roads leading to Blasimon and let yourself be surprised, throughout this loop, by the richness of the local heritage and the views from the hillsides.

From Jugazan, enjoy the rolling countryside offering magnificent panoramic views of the Engranne valley. Continuing towards Rauzan, wind your way through the rows of vines to reach its medieval castle. Finish your hike by discovering the many Palaeolithic sites in Lugasson.

A circular route in a fairly hilly landscape where you can admire beautiful views, a dolmen, a Romanesque church and enjoy the undergrowth and vineyards. From the old Saint-Laurent-des-Combes railway station, at a place called Barbeyron, you will climb back up towards Saint-Émilion with exceptional views of the medieval town. After skirting the town, this hike will take you through the heart of the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru vineyards.

Here is a lovely walk east of Frontenac, along paths, trails and quiet roads. The highlight of the route is the Templar Commandery of Sallebruneau, a site steeped in history. It stands isolated in a serene and restful countryside, conducive to contemplation.

Discover a little-known part of Libourne after a few minutes' drive, leaving the traffic behind for the vineyards and then the tranquillity of the banks of the Dordogne. If it is hot and the sun is strong, you will be in the shade and cool on your return. The presence of the menhir is surprising.
