Park in the small car park opposite Rauzan Castle.
(S/E) Head towards the castle and take the path leading down into the moat. Go round the castle on the right. Go down the steps and turn left along the embankment.
(1) Turn right onto the tarmac road towards Saint-Pierre Church. Take the small grassy path on the left (GRR Chemin d’Amadour) then return to the road.
(2) Turn left and continue to the stop sign. Take the road opposite. At the first bend, by the cemetery, turn right onto the dirt track between the vineyards. At the house, follow the track to the left then take the small path between the trees on your right.
Follow this path through the vineyards to the road to reach the hamlet of Roquenègre.
(3) At the road, turn right then left into the first street (Roquenègre) to reach Barigat.
At the three-way junction, take the street furthest to the right. Walk between the houses.
(4) After the last house, take the grassy path in front of you and follow the stone wall. Before passing the spring and the wash house at Laulan, take a short break to admire Rauzan Castle. Go round the wash house then head down along the low stone wall. Walk past the campsite and climb the stairs to return to the moat of Rauzan Castle. You can walk round it on the right to return to your starting point. (S/E)
