Start the walk from the Branne Tourist Office.
(S/E) Opposite the Tourist Office, take the Quais du Docteur Antoine to follow the Dordogne on your right, then go up Rue Mateau to arrive opposite the market hall and Rue Lamothe.
(1) Turn right onto the one-way street. Turn right again onto Rue du Port Leyron, cross the small bridge over the Lyssandre and join Rue des Carrelets.
(2) Take the street opposite you and continue left onto Rue du Mascaret until you reach the junction with the D936.
(3) Turn right, then left towards the gendarmerie. Follow Route de la Gendarmerie, then Route de la Pierrière. At the place of the same name, continue straight ahead until you reach Rue Notre-Dame.
(4) Turn right onto the street to reach the village of Grézillac. Pass the first church on this route, the Église Notre-Dame de Grézillac, and continue to the stop sign.
(5) Turn left and, on leaving the village, take the small road on your right towards Chaumel. At the crossroads, turn left towards Camarsan until you reach the next intersection.
(6) Continue left to the stop sign and the D11.
(7) Turn right and follow the departmental road towards Cadillac and Targon until you reach a four-way junction.
(8) Continue straight ahead, still towards Targon. At the junction with the D122, continue straight ahead until the next fork and the cycle path.
(9) Take the latter on the left, cross two roads and arrive at a crossroads.
(10) Leave the cycle path by turning left towards Arpaillan. You can take a break at the Domaine d'Arpaillan, which has been awarded the Accueil Vélo label. At the intersection, turn right and continue until you reach the stop sign.
(11) Turn left onto the D19, then take the first road on the right. At the next intersection, turn left, then right to reach the village of Naujan-et-Postiac and its Romanesque church.
(12) Turn left, cross the village and leave the town to reach a four-way intersection.
(13) Continue straight ahead towards Libourne and Guillac. At the second intersection, turn right towards the hamlet of Le Rabut and follow the road to the end.
(14) Continue left and then right until you reach the goose paste.
(15) Follow the small road on the left, then turn right quickly towards the town hall of Lugaignac.
(16) Pass the town hall, continue straight ahead and turn right, then right again at the first intersection to reach the end of the road at Laubarède.
(17) Turn left. At the stop sign, go straight ahead towards the windmill. Pass it and you will arrive near the houses.
(18) Turn left towards the village of Saint-Aubin-de-Branne. Note the Romanesque-style Notre-Dame Church. You will arrive at a monument at a three-way junction.
(19) Stay on the path to the right of the monument. At the edge of the village, take the road that climbs slightly to the left and cross the hamlet of Blanquine. Continue to the end of the road.
(20) Keep right. At the fork, turn left, then, after passing the Ruisseau de l'Engranne, turn left at the stop sign to join the D18.
(21) Continue left towards Branne and Cabara until you reach a Y-junction.
(22) Turn right towards Cabara. Follow the road into the village.
(23) Cross the village, keeping straight ahead, and continue on the D18E5 until it ends.
(24) At the stop sign, turn right (be careful, there is heavy traffic) and return to your starting point in Branne (S/E).
