The passage through Martainville-Épreville is a highlight of the walk, thanks in particular to the view of the Château de Martainville, a remarkable Renaissance building surrounded by its park. The town hall in the commune of Les Hogues offers a panoramic view over the Andelle valley as far as the outskirts of Rouen. The spring bearing its name, which flows at the foot of the town hall, is reputed to cure the mad and calm unbearable wives.

Hamlets and countryside from Bourg-Beaudouin
This walk, through the fields and wooded countryside of the Eure, begins with the “Circular Butterfly Loop” recommended by the Eure Tourist Office. It continues along the small roads passing through the hamlets surrounding Bourg-Beaudouin.
This route is particularly recommended during periods of flooding as it deliberately avoids forest tracks and muddy, marshy paths.
