Parking between the town hall and the church of Saint-Aignan-Sur-Ry, Rue de l'Église.
(S/E) With your back to the town hall, turn right and walk past the school. Continue straight ahead until you reach the bend in the road.
(1) Turn right onto Route du Vannier, which continues as a path. Pass Le Clos Des Granges on your right and continue along this grassy path between the fields until you reach a road. Cross it and continue across the fields. You will reach another road (D87).
(2) Follow it to the right until you reach the church in Boissay and go around it on the left. Opposite the dovecote, turn right and then, after the town hall, turn left towards Buchay (D93). Leave this street at thefirst intersection.
(3) Turn right towards C2 Mesnil-Jean, then pass a house and farm with a very long thuja hedge on your left. Follow this small road until you reach a crossroads of dirt tracks. Take the one on the right, opposite the sign prohibiting motor vehicles, and continue until you reach a road (D261).
(4) First turn right then left to take a grassy path through the plains, bordered by a hedge of shrubs. You will reach a road and see the remains of a white stone cross on the right under a large tree. Turn left and continue to the corner of a house.
(5) Leave the road and take the path on the left that runs alongside a hedge on your right, then continue without reaching the next road.
(6) Descend to the right onto the path between two fences bordering the pastures. The hilly landscape comes into view. Reach a road (D87), turn left and then follow thefirst intersection on the right towards Héronchelles D261. Below, the Héronchelles river flows. Enjoy the view and reach a crossroads.
(7) Cross the RD46, go over the bridge over the Héronchelles River, then pass the castle on your left and follow the road through the woods that border it. Reach an intersection without crossing the high-voltage line.
(8) Turn right at the signs for "Domaine Des Vallées et Mémorial Des Diables Noirs". You will come to a memorial to the victims of the AFN (French North Africa) war, then continue along the street into the woods. It continues as a small carriage road at the riding school. Continue and, at the edge of the woods, enjoy the rolling countryside. When you reach thefirst houses, continue along a grassy path that descends through the fields.
When you reach a crossroads, ignore theGR®® trail that branches off to the right.
(9) Turn left and continue uphill into the copse. Cross the road and take Chemin De La Bucaille to the corner of a house with a sign saying "menuiserie" (carpentry).
(10) Turn right onto a grassy path between two hedges. Walk alongside a wood and then, at the cross, follow the road downhill to the right. Continue to the bend and walk to Rebets church and back, admiring its limestone bell tower, then return to the road.
(11) Turn left at the no entry signs. Go downhill and cross the departmental road towards Boissay (D87). Cross the bridge over the River Le Héron and immediately leave the road without following the bend.
(12) Turn left, pass between two houses and find the path opposite. Climb it, following Le Héron on your left. Reach a road, cross it and you will see a telecommunications mast. Head towards a four-way crossroads.
(13) Follow the path on the right towards the pylon, pass it on your left and walk along a field. Go down into the woods, follow the bend to the right and you will reach a road.
(14) Climb the path opposite, which joins a street. Cross it and take a footpath with houses on your right. You will come to another street.
(15) Take it to the right, then turn left at the Rue de l'Église crossroads and return to the starting point (S/E).
