Departure from the Croisy sur Andelle town hall car park.
(S/E) From the car park, follow Route de la Capelle south-west. After 80 metres, turn right onto Rue de la Plume and continue for 100 metres.
(1) Turn right onto the hiking trail (marked with blue circles or red and yellow lines or yellow lines) which follows the old grassy railway line. After 600 metres, turn right and walk up Chemin du Petit Val for 100 metres.
(2) Turn left onto Chemin de Beaumont (following the red and yellow markings). The tarmac road continues as a dirt track and runs alongside the woods. The edge of the woods is separated from the fields by a barbed wire fence, so you need to keep to the right of this fence from the start to stay in the undergrowth and avoid having to cross any barriers.
(3) At the edge of the woods, cross the D413 and take theGRP®3(route no. 14, blue markings) almost opposite (30 metres higher up). Go down this path, which makes a large right turn, and continue along the hiking trail, which overlooks the Andelle for about 4 kilometres.
(4) The path arrives at the Pont Léon road. Continue straight ahead on this road. At the end of the Pont Léon road, leave Imberville on your left, turn right and follow the D238. This road forms a fairly tight hairpin bend. Walk in the field or behind the safety barriers.
(5) 300 metres after the bend, take the hiking trail that climbs to the left, marked by a wooden sign. Here the markings disappear, so it is important to refer to the route on the map and stay on the widest paths left by logging vehicles. So, after leaving the road, climb up into the forest along this path which, after 150m, turns right and continues for 500m.
(6) At the end of the path, in front of plot 241, turn left and continue for 350 metres before turning right onto a wider path that takes you to the Quatre-Mares forest road. Follow this forest road and, at the end, in front of plot 231, turn right and, 200 metres further on, cross the N31.
(7) After crossing the N31, enter the Lyons national forest (yellow and red markings), continue straight ahead on the path and then, at the end, turn left. At the next crossroads, at the corner of plot 252, turn right. The path is straight for 500 metres and then turns right for 200 metres.
(8) When the path turns left, take the path that climbs to the right for 50 metres and then turns left. Continue for 800 metres before crossing the Route Forestière du Faon. Continue straight ahead on the path that descends to the bottom of Val Saint-Pierre.
(9) In Val Saint-Pierre, leave the path and follow the road on the right that passes in front of a riding centre.
(10) 300 metres after the centre and the lodge, turn left onto the Chemin de la Butte aux Anglais.
(11) After 800m, take the path on the right, which climbs and leads to the Route Forestière de la Marlière au Roi at plot 606.
(12) Follow the forest road on the right towards the east. Walk along the plots.
(13) At the crossroads, descend to the right between plots 602 and 601. Then turn left and continue along this path to exit the woods at the pylon.
(14) Then turn right to follow the N31 and go down the road.
(15) Turn left onto Route de la Briqueterie to pass under the N31 bridge. Continue straight ahead on the pavement.
(16) Turn left onto Ruelle du Prieuré, then right onto Chemin de la Forêt, then left onto Rue de l'Église and walk past the church.
(17) Turn right onto Rue de la Poste, cross Route de la Capelle and head to the town hall car park (S/E).
