On leaving the village of Pierrefeu, at the roundabout near the wine cooperative, head towards Collobrières on the D14. After about 1.5 km, head towards the hamlet of La Portanière; when you reach the hamlet, turn left towards the containers and continue for 150 m to the "fishermen and hikers" car park.
(S/E) Head east on the red and white markedGR®51 trail, cross the hamlet of La Portanière and you will soon come to a crossroads.

(1) Leave theGR® and follow the path to the left. Turn 90° left at the next crossroads. Continue uphill and, after a right-hand bend, walk along the top of the Vallon Loubier valley on the Crête de Sauvecanne ridge. After a short descent, you will reach the Piste des Périers crossroads.
(2) Continue uphill to a crossroads.
(3) At the intersection of four tracks, take the one on the left that climbs the most. The track becomes almost horizontal before crossing another track.
(4) Turn left onto the Piste du Fédon. Continue along this track until you reach a trail junction.
(5) Take it to the left for a few metres, then veer right to climb up and reach the summit of Fédon. Enjoy the beautiful views on both sides.
(6) Begin the descent via the path slightly to the right of the tree. You will soon rejoin the Piste du Fédon. Do not take this path, but turn left onto the trail to continue the descent along the summit of the shoulder. Further down, you will come to a junction with several trails.
(7) Ignore the paths branching off to the left and then to the right and continue until you reach a crossroads at the edge of a wood.
(8) Follow the main path to the left, which joins a small stream in the Vallon du Fédon further down.
(9) Turn right into the valley, staying on the left bank of the stream. You will reach the confluence with the Réal Martin stream. Turn left and stay on the left bank of the Réal Martin. You will reach the ford at the hamlet of Les Vidaux.
(10) Follow the riverbed here, walking on the pebbles and along the Réal Martin. Gradually move away from it to reach the Rouves district. Turn right to reach La Portanière and the "fishermen and hikers" car park (S/E).
