Set off to conquer the roof of the Var and enjoy the magnificent panoramic views from the summit.

A beautiful and enjoyable hike, without any particular difficulty, dotted with historical sites and varied landscapes: rocky, wooded, plains. You won't be bored for a minute and, as a highlight, there is a breathtaking 360° panorama from the highest point.

Tour of the Barre de la Sapée and Rocher du Castel de Ruel, via Cadières de Brendis, from the Col des Lèques, with superb views of the Verdon and surrounding area from the summit.

A superb hike in the Grasse hinterland. On the agenda: megaliths, magnificent views of the entire coast (on a clear day) and, to finish, a superb waterfall in an exceptional setting.

A very pretty, magical and interactive hike under oak trees, hundred-year-old chestnut trees and among huge sandstone boulders. Most of the walk is in the cool forest. The Grès d'Annot are world famous and are a listed and protected site.

Another route providing access to the ruins of Castellaras and Lac de Thorenc follows part of the existing circuit on Visorando. It starts from the D5, at a place called La Pinée, and is just as interesting. I have classified this route as difficult due to its orientation and length. It is advisable to bring a suitable tool for this route.

A hike in Pays du Verdon that takes ancient Roman roads, runs alongside an abandoned village and a chapel sheltered by rocks with magnificent landscapes.

A beautiful walk up the Verdon by its bed ! A feast for the eyes from start to finish ! ⚠️The Sentier Martel is not very difficult for regular walkers, but you have to be careful. However, the trickiest part is the Imbert ladders (6 ladders, 252 steps), which are difficult for hikers prone to vertigo. The difference in altitude is overestimated. The Imbut trail is a hike that lets you discover the Verdon in the heart the gorge and the river bed. Extraordinary landscapes await you but this hike is difficult and certain sections on the cliffs (Chemin Vidal) and through rocks (section until the Baou Beni), require a good level of physical fitness. Be careful of vertigo! The altitude calculated by the software is a little high, it's closer to about 800m. The SENTIER DE L'IMBUT has been closed since July 2022 by municipal decree. It is still closed as of today 10/26/23 until further notice (risk of landslides/landslides). If you wish to do so in a few months, inquire in advance with the Aiguines town hall on 04 94 70 21 93

Ascent to the Sainte-Anne Chapel, located 624 m above sea level on the western summit of the Plateau du Puy, passing by the ruins of a Ligurian oppidum. Easy hike in the Provence scrubland and forest (thyme, lavender, rock rose...)

This is a lovely, easy walk for the whole family in autumn to admire the magnificent colours of the leaves or in summer to enjoy the cool shade of the woods.

This is a large loop that goes around one of the first foothills of the Pré-Alpes d'Azur, following old paths and the Gorges de la Siagne. The loop is long but mostly flat, except for the descent to Cabris and the very steep climb back up to Saint-Vallier. The villages offer views and shops for refreshments. It is recommended to start early, as the second third of the hike will be sheltered from the southern sun, but the hardest part is exposed. There are few alternative routes or shortcuts once you are in the gorges between Saint-Cézaire and Saint-Vallier.

Starting from the charming village of Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne, you will explore the Siagne Gorges. On the programme: - descent to the Saint-Saturnin Chapel, - walk along the Siagne canal, - crossing the splendid Pont des Gabres (or Pont des Tuves, depending on which bank you are on), - climb back up this wild river with its crystal-clear waters and return to the village for a lovely view of this beautiful valley.

This hike goes around the Malle plateau, first following the Colle du Maçon ridge and then the Doublier ridge. Most of the route is on the peaks of the Grasse Pre-Alps and offers breathtaking 360° views of the Mercantour, the French Riviera and the enchanting Caussols plateau. The Malle plateau is farmed by a group of livestock breeders. This route stays within the boundaries of the Malle estate, which are marked by numerous signs on the ground.

A walk around a little-known village with hidden gems, close to home! Montferrat is located 14 km north of Draguignan. The hike starts at Place des Allées, west of the village in front of the pretty village school. The esplanade, a former transhumance site, is adorned with centuries-old plane trees and bordered by the Nartuby River. We are in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Most of the route is through woodland.

A beautiful walk along the Siagne, through the woods, with some lovely surprises in store: the Tuve bridge and its waterfall, a beautiful little beach, numerous ruins that bear witness to a major agricultural activity in the past, and a forest of centuries-old oaks that is nothing short of fairytale forest. In short, it's the perfect tour for nature lovers and those who enjoy a refreshing swim.

A lovely family walk in the forest to discover old sites and visit a teaching farm (cows, sheep, goats, donkeys, ponies, horses, etc.).

On 6 April 1944, the Maquis de la Ferme Laval was defeated after around twenty resistance fighters battled Nazi soldiers and militiamen for over six hours. This easy walk from Lambruisse takes you to the site of this tragedy.

Starting from the Pont de Berthéon, this circular hike in the Gorges de Daluis allows you to discover the superb and characteristic landscape of the Upper Var Valley. After a gentle climb through red pelite, you will reach a sublime spot offering a sensational view over the gorges. You will then climb back up the gorges to complete a loop via the Colla and Saussette plateaus, which offer some beautiful views of the mountains in this valley.

This is a well-known and popular circular route, best done when the mimosa is in bloom between January and March. The route is clearly marked with abundant, easy-to-read yellow signs, so it is impossible to get lost. The route alternates between shady valleys and ridges illuminated by mimosa trees. However, it should be avoided after heavy rain as there are several fords to cross. It is a relatively long hike but accessible to most walkers.
