Park in the car park between Avenue de Soleilhas and Chemin du Clouet.
(S/E) Leave the car park and follow Avenue de Soleilhas towards Castellane, then turn left onto Chemin du Thuveras. Go down the road and ignore the first road on the right leading to the tennis courts and playground. At the end of the road, at a place called La Tour, continue in the same direction.
(1) At the fork, take the right-hand path and go down to the stream. Cross it via a small wooden bridge. The path climbs back up to an intersection.
(2) Turn right towards Ferme Brûlée. The trail climbs up to an orientation table (view of Lacs de Chaudanne and Lac de Castillon).
(3) Descend south-southwest to the ruins of Ferme Brûlée.
(4) Continue left and cross a meadow (path not always clearly defined). Then, take a wide path and climb through the woods (lovely view of Barre Rousse and Crête du Teillon) to reach the junction with theGR®4(stony esplanade).
(5) Turn left and continue climbing to the foot of a pylon (gradually, through the vegetation, you will see Lac de Castillon).
(6) At the fork, take the path on the left that descends.
(2) Turn right and follow the path you took on the way up to return to the car park (S/E).
