This urban route offers an unusual way to discover Poitiers through its ancient streets and hillside neighbourhoods. The route includes stairs and steep streets, requiring a good level of fitness.
Poitiers through its monuments
This is a fun little hike to discover Poitiers through its monuments. The duration and distance of your route will vary depending on how curious you are. Feel free to leave the initial route temporarily to explore a monument and then resume your walk. If you are curious, the walk can be much longer. Note that a bus line (2A or 2B) will take you back to your starting point and destination.

A route exploring the troglodytic landscapes, created by the exploitation of the Tuffeau quarries, with beautiful views over the Envigne valley. The route is marked in green, starting from the Marigny-Brizay town hall.

Magnificent views of Moussais Castle and Colombiers Forest. This route has it all, from botany to built heritage, from the arboretum along the green corridor to the Beaumont Tower and the Madeleine Chapel. You'll be amazed!

I suggest a short, easy walk through woods and valleys. This walk is suitable for everyone, provided you wear suitable footwear. Please do take care when crossing roads.
Around Cenon-sur-Vienne
This route takes us along the ancient Roman road and introduces us to the remains of the Gallo-Roman site of Old Poitiers. Take the time to stop for a break in the magnificent Parc de la Grande Maison and, if time allows, take a trip on an electric boat.
