The Sauldre Canal from Brinon-sur-Sauldre
A journey back in time to when, during the Second Empire, the Sologne region emerged from poverty thanks to the canals designed to transport marl—a natural mixture of limestone and clay—to fertilise its land. The route follows the towpath of the Sauldre Canal, which features no fewer than six locks, then passes through deciduous and coniferous forests with undergrowth of heather, as well as some moorland. It even runs alongside a modern farm!
Route des Césars
This is an iconic route in Pierrefitte-sur-Sauldre, a village in the Sologne region renowned for its game-rich forests, ponds and brick architecture. The Étang des Césars, remarkable for its size and rich wildlife, inspires tranquillity.
Circular of the Vieux Perroi in Brinon
A beautiful circular in Sologne, the first part of this circular follows wide paths, while the second part quickly becomes wilder and more typical of the Sologne landscape.
Sauldre Canal and Étang du Puits tower
This beautiful circular walk begins along the Canal de la Sauldre, with its locks, small bridges and weirs. It then enters the forest, along long paths lined with ponds, and ends with an almost complete tour of the Étang du Puits, via Cerdon beach, the pretty path that winds between the trees along a small disused railway line, the crossing of the Bois aux Moines and, finally, the path that runs alongside the Canal and the beach at Argent-sur-Sauldre.

The Borne des Quatre Paroisses circular route from Cerdon-du-Loiret

Starting from the pretty village of Souvigny-en-Sologne, this route will take you to the gates of Sennely along paths lined with forests and ponds. Here you will find all the charm of the Sologne, the Sologne as we love it, a natural and wild Sologne.

A lovely circular route starting from Saint-Palais (Cher), a village known for its pottery market and apple orchards. It mainly follows paths through woodland and takes you through unspoilt countryside dotted with ponds.
Sologne trails starting from Villemurlin
Mainly on dirt, sand or gravel paths, this fairly easy circuit takes you through the peaceful and varied landscapes of the Sologne: ponds, forests, hedgerow-enclosed pastures and interspersed crops. At the start and finish, the pretty village of Villemurlin offers a typical Sologne charm with its brick houses and blue ladders, reminders of a time when the attic was accessed from outside.
Initially shared with the family path of Villemurlin (the "chouette promenade" or "owl walk"), this route then takes a shortened version of the former "PR® des domaines de chasse et cultures" (hunting grounds and farmland), of which a few signs remain.

During this walk, you can explore the Farges pond and the viewpoint, from the top of which you can admire the Church of Saint Pierre in Menetou-Salon. And, of course, our vineyards.

The Poustière circular in Sennely
A lovely circular route through the forests of Sologne, criss-crossed by streams feeding numerous ponds. This circular route goes around the Baillère Valley, through which the Tannerie flows before joining the Cosson, which you will cross twice.
Route around Parassy
On the border between Sancerre and Champagne Berrichonne, this route starts in Parassy and allows you to discover part of the vineyards of the famous Ménetou AOC. This route, which follows part ofthe GR®31, also offers a short climb to the Bois de Michavant, where you can admire Champagne Berrichonne dominated by Bourges Cathedral.
Around Morogues
In the foothills of the Sancerre region, overlooking the Berry countryside, come and discover some of the Morogues vineyards that produce the renowned AOC wines of Ménetou-Salon.
This is also the starting point for the famous Morogues-Sancerre hike, which many people do at night and don't get to enjoy the scenery.
On the way back, depending on the weather, you may be able to see Bourges Cathedral and the Berry countryside.

The suggested ride around Morogues will allow you to discover the different landscapes of this area: passing through vineyards, with views of the Berry countryside or the Sancerre region.
It is a hilly route without any major difficulties that can be covered by mountain bike.
